Taslima Nasmin X 2007 X 28"x24.5"
Taslima is a Bengali Bangladeshi physician, writer and feminist human rights activist living under an Islamic fatwa since 1993. In March 2007 a bounty was again offered for her beheading.

The government of Bangladesh has banned most of her fifteen books because of her critical views on religion and the treatment of women under Islam. She has defied that ban by posting her writing on the web in the Bengali language.
